2011 & Beyond Camp Scholarships

Applications for the current calendar year may be submitted between February 1 and June 15th.

Applicants must be submitted by a parent or social worker for a child or teen between the ages of 5-17. Scholarships may be granted in an amount less than requested or less than the cost of camp, so applicant must indicate where additional funding will come from. In the past, scholarships in amounts ranging between $100-$1000 have been granted with higher amounts going to those attending specialized camps for behaviorally challenged campers, camps for sibling groups and specific disabilities

The Board will meet bi-monthly after March 15th to decide on applicants. Priority will be given to applicants that meet the following criteria. If you do not meet the criteria, your application may be held for further review.

1. The camper is in or has been in the foster care system and may be attending a specialized camp
2. The camp is one with an emphasis on children with behavioral, social and/or emotional difficulties

The application must be filled in completely and must include a statement from a social worker, school guidance or school adjustment counselor or psychologist. All applications sent via email, mail or fax will be treated with confidentiality.
